a) podvádět, švindlovat

If you cheat on your husband or wife, you secretly have a sexual relationship with someone else. Pokud podvádíte svého manžela nebo manželku, máte tajně sexuální vztah s někým jiným.
She cheated in the test. She copied everything from her neighbour. Podváděla v testu. Opsala všechno od svého souseda.
He was cheating at cards. Švindloval v kartách.

b) podvodník, kdo podvádí (při písemce ap.)

Don´t call me a cheat / (a cheater)! Neříkej mi, že jsem podvodník!

Translate:
1) Zjistila, že ji podvádí.2) Vdala se, ale její manžel ji podváděl.
3) Vzala si Petra, ale podvedl ji.
4) Podvádí svého manžela.

1. Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

3. The names Lincoln and Kennedy each contain seven letters. Both were particularly concerned with civil rights. Both wives lost a child while living in the White House.
